GraphiTech has been invited to join the December '09 OGC (open Geospatial Consortium Inc) Technical Committee Meetings which will be held at Google headquarters in Mountain View, California. Technical and Planning Committee Meetings of the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) is a week long, quarter-yearly event, where the OGC Standards Working Groups and Domain Working Groups meet, evaluate findings and results, discuss and decide how to proceed. GraphiTech has been invited to join the panel of the “High-level Round Table on Public administration and public investment priorities: ICTs and basic service delivery for marginalized populations” at AFRICOMM 2009, the 1st International ICST Conference on e-Infrastructure and e-Services for Developing Countries in Maputo, Mozambique. The aim of this conference is bringing together international researchers, public officers, policy makers and practitioners in ICT to discuss issues and trends, recent research, innovation advances and on-the-field experiences related to e Government, e Governance, e Infrastructure, and e Business with a focus on developing countries. Graphitech, (Italy) has qualified to present at the European Venture Summit (EVS) sponsored by by North Rhine-Westphalia and the City of Düsseldorf.The European Venture Summit, hosted by Europe Unlimited,showcases the best 120 young companies in Europe, within Life sciences, Cleantech and ICT. Graphitech qualified though the Trentino Technology Tour and was rated by expert investors as one of the top 10 investable companies from the contest.

GraphiTech has been invited to join the Space Venture Training Contest and Investment Readiness Programme in Milan. The event is organized by Innovhub with support from the Chamber of Commerce of Milan, the Italian Council for Social Sciences (CSS) and ESynergy Limited and it is aimed at identifying young start-ups operating in the spatial and aereo-spatial domain, through research or industrial activities.
