Sulle orme di una delle più importanti popolazioni dell’Italia centrale, la mostra Etruschi in Europa racconta, attraverso straordinarie immagini e rendering in tre dimensioni, la vita e le gesta di questa florida civiltà antica.

Raccolte in un’area di oltre 500 mq, le immagini e le ricostruzioni tridimensionali sono state realizzate dall’Unità di Ricerca 3DOM della Fondazione Bruno Kessler e dal Centro per le tecnologie grafiche digitali avanzate – Fondazione Graphitech.

Today GraphicsMedia.Net gGmbH, the International Network for the Cooperation in Applied Research in Computer Graphics, Multimoda-Multimedia Technologies and Visual Interactive Digital Media Technologies, has been founded in Kaiserslautern, Germany.

Fondazione Graphitech is proud to announce to be one of the founding member of GraphicsMedia.Net together with CCG – Portugal, Vicomtech – Spain, DFKI – Germany, HPI – Germany and Mivtech – Panama.

GraphicsMedia.net is a non-profit company with focus on with the main focus areas computer graphics, multi-modal technologies, and visual interactive digital media technologies. The Company has a pan-European and global scope in order to become very soon a reference partner into innovating the ICT in the field of the wide scenario of computer graphics, also promoting and the co-ordinating the research and development activities in such fields, including the exploitation and transfer of the generated knowledge to interested companies, R&D institutions and individuals.

Graphitech will join the retreat of the Department of Mechanical and Structural Engineering (DIMS) of the University of Trento (Italy) on December 20-21, 2010. During the retreat, the status of the research is reviewed and disseminated to the audience, thinking over future directions through stimulating roundtables and discussions with researchers from foreign universities, industries, public companies, professional engineers, students, and the entire community.

The retreat is organized over two days. The first day is devoted to understanding the mission, the strategy, and the vision of research and higher education, through a stimulating open discussion with speakers from other European and US departments and from funding agencies.
During the second day, Graphitech will present their ongoing projects, providing a concise yet comprehensive overview of the various research activities carried out. The retreat is a unique opportunity to get an overview of many developments in top engineering research areas, such as mechatronics, structural engineering, and sustainable energy, with a critical eye opened towards grounding future research directions on industrial and societal needs.
