A client server infrastructure capable of accessing in real time 3D visualisation of GIS data compatible with OGC standards (WMS, WFS, WPS).

This project has lead to the development of a client server infrastructure capable of accessing in real time 3D visualisation of GIS data. The system is based on a client-server architecture which allows the data to be centrally managed by the administration while each client can connect to the main repository and access and navigate in 3D different plans and thematic maps.

Requirements:

• A 3D video card with updated drivers. [How to update windows drivers]
• Sun Microsystem Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 10 or more recent.

Known Issues:

• Image download speeds will vary, depending on your internet connection.
• A blank screen is typically caused by out of date graphics drivers. Please update them from the graphics card manufacturer via the links above.
